For a reliable staging put one of these ignitors in the nozzle of the upper stage motor. Ignition is instantaneous even if the motors are spaced apart.

For a very reliable cluster ignition of a virtually unlimited number of motors, put one of these ignitors into each nozzle and join them with a piece of Tapemach folded in two.

Suitable for Estes and Klima motor only. To use them in Estes motors you may need to wrap some masking tape around the ignitor to obtain a tighter fit.
