Easy returns for kits and accessories
Are you looking for a two-stage rocket that uses economic engines and requires a full assemblying? The Sagitta is exactly that.
All parts of this model rocket kit are made with the utmost precision, and building instructions are accurate and rich of illustrations.
The fins are made of lightweight plywood, a slightly heavier material than balsa, but much stronger and easy to work. The fuselage is made of the usual kraft white cardboard tube, rugged and lightweight at the same time.
This rocket has a very appealing shape, with the fins of the first stage that are matched with those of the second forming a continuous set. At first stage burnout, the second stage separates and reaches incredible altitudes, especially if driven by a Klima D9 motor!
Of course you can launch the second stage just like a normal single-stage model rocket.
The safe return to the ground of second stage is ensured by a 40 cm plastic parachute, included in the box, while the first stage returns to the ground falling slowly thank to its large fins.
To launch the rocket you need a launch pad with 3 mm rod, like the Klima launch pad, the Estes Astron II Launch Pad or the Estes Porta Pad II. To start the rocket you need an electric launch control like the Klima controller or Estes Astron II, and batteries. Launch pad and launch control are not included.
