This aluminum seal disk is included in Aerotech High Power reloadable motors RMS 38/480, RMS 38/600, RMS 38/720 and RMS 38/1080. It is required with all the reloads for these motors.
If you own a shorter RMS 38 mm motor and you purchased a longer casing (from 480 up) you will need this seal disk.
The Forward Seal Disk acts as an additional seal to block the hot gases which can blister and damage the internal surface of the motor case.
