The highly stable plug-in system makes the launch pad very compact for transport and easy to assemble for launch. A Velcro strap, which also serves simultaneously as eye protection, holds all parts together securely during transport.

The standard version of the launch pad comes with 3.2 mm demountable stainless steel rod of 88 cm length, but the pad can mount a 6 mm launch rod (not included) to launch larger rockets.

A safe tilt adjustment in the header allows an inclination within 30 degrees from the vertical, as per NAR safety code.
The blast deflector plate is made of sturdy stainless steel, as well as all the screws and the launch rods.
